The Mill Lakeside Manor just never disappoints! The Mill in fall is one of my favorite times on the property! The gardens change thru the seasons with different plants and flowers – but there was just something about the fall display this year that was extra special!

We started the day at the gorgeous Chateau Inn and Suites – which is such a charming bed and breakfast and just the perfect space for bridal prep! Then we headed over to The Mill. Kendra’s look was just absolute perfection, and I (of course) loved her neutral color palette. There’s something about those champagne gowns that just gets me every time!

How did you meet?

We met in middle school during a summer baseball tournament – Stephen played baseball through college and I played softball through college!

What was the proposal like?

Stephen planned his own birthday surprise party behind the scenes to make the proposal happen. His mom asked me what I was doing for Stephens birthday, and I said I wanted to just take him out in the city. His Mom said she wanted to throw him a surprise party instead. At 25 I thought it was odd his mom wanted to throw him a party but my dad said we could do it at my Ocean City shore house. I invited all of our friends and family to Stephens ‘surprise’ party. Turns out Stephen surprised us all and pulled out a ring on the beach!!! Of course I said yes 🙂
