This was such a fun wedding! Pleasantdale Chateau is an epic location with about a million photo opportunities strewn thru a giant property and mansion. It’s such a unique location! They have the most spectacular solarium with the largest stag horn ferns ever (if you know, you know).

If I had to pick a single thing from this wedding to talk about – it would be hard. It might be the fact that Lindsay looked like an actual Disney princess and I was obsessed with her dress(es) or the absolute banger of a party that was their reception. The band beyond killed it, and the showgirls that joined us later and passed out shots were the icing on the figurative cake.

How did you meet?

We attended the same high school but never spoke to each other. With a graduating class of about 600 students, we knew of each other and even shared some mutual friends, but never connected—despite Ben having a crush on me. Fast forward to 2021: we found ourselves at the same dinner party of about 10 people for a mutual friend. It was Cinco de Mayo, and I was debating whether to order a single margarita or a margarita flight. Ben quietly looked up and said, ‘Get the flight.’ That night, I added my number to Ben’s phone, and the rest is history!

What was the proposal like?

Ben took me to 90 Acres under the pretense of attending his father’s birthday dinner. Since we arrived early, Ben suggested showing me the fields where he ‘used to play soccer’, but in reality, didn’t exist. It was pouring rain during our drive to Natirar Park, but as soon as we arrived, the rain stopped and the sun shown through the clouds. Ben led me to a bridge that supposedly connected to the soccer fields. Stopping halfway across, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said, ‘Yes!’ Afterward, we walked up to the restaurant, where Ben revealed there was no family dinner; the evening was planned for just us. However, as the hostess led us to our table, I was surprised to find both of our immediate families waiting in a private room. Ben had planned everything perfectly, complete with my favorite foods and specialty cocktails.
