Annie and Andrew!! Ahhhh!! I love you two! This was such an amazing day. I cannot impress how difficult it is to get beach portraits on a wedding day. Either the wedding or the venue usually has to be directly on the beach in order to make it happen. Annie and Andrew got ready for their wedding at the White Sands in Point Pleasant – and while we ran into some access issues attempting to get onto the beach in the morning, we made it! Annie’s flowing florals looked incredible with the sand and water, and I am so happy that we made the decision to go out on the beach for some of her bridal party portraits!
Annie and Andrew are just such good natured people with the best vibes and the friendliest families. We so enjoyed getting to spend the day with all of them, and I swear I may have cried at Annie’s brother’s man of honor speech. Just the absolute sweetest.
The golden hour portraits on the dock and roof deck were just the icing on the cake to this perfect day!
How did you meet?
We met at the Rowan Rec Center where I worked and Andrew often worked out (lol). I would switch shifts to try and see him more and Andrew ended up messaging me on Instagram to organize a fundraiser with his fraternity and the rest is history!
What was the proposal like?
So romantic! On the beach, a block away from my father’s house in Lavallette and where we love to spend time, he organized a picnic and champagne and rose petals and my best friend hiding in the dunes to take photos!
What is your favorite thing to do together?
Spend time down the shore! On the beach, swimming, walking with our dogs.
