Lisa and Steve, I just love you!! This is such a gorgeous fall wedding at Crystal Point and I can’t wait for you all to see it. Lisa just got me, and when I saw the nautical rope tucked in with her details, I was so excited to be able to include it in her photos! This wedding was one for the books – such a fun day from beginning to end with the best energy.

Steve adopted a penguin for Lisa as part of his wedding gift to her, and I’m not going to lie – Alec the videographer and I were tearing up a bit watching her joy when she opened it and seeing the little penguin prints! Such a personal and special gift.

We headed over to Saint Denis for the ceremony after getting ready at Crystal Point, and then made it back to the venue just as the light got golden! It was the perfect evening for some exquisite light out on the dock, which I know was Lisa’s top priority! We ended the night with a very special surprise appearance from the NJ Devil Mascot!

I’ll let Lisa tell you about the proposal in her own words:

Steve surprised me at my most meaningful and favorite pier in Lavallette, where I have been going since I was young and have a bungalow. He knew how important it was to me. My best friend tricked me into thinking it was a girls night and we met at the pier to take pictures before going out.. turns out Steve was there with flowers and champagne waiting! Then he planned a surprise dinner with our closest family after.
