As a Jersey Shore girl, I fully appreciate Jersey Shore weddings – and this one definitely has it all. A Yacht Club, a stunning church in the heart of Cape May – Jitney rides, barefoot photos on the beach in November, and an ice cream truck – this one was for the books. Hayley is just as time-preoccupied as I am, so when we planned out this timeline, we knew it was ambitious but possible. It ended up being just perfect – and we got all of the photos we wanted and then some more. Can you believe that Hayley and Billy’s absolutely stunning beach portrait session took us just about 10 minutes on the beach in Ocean City? If you are willing to go all in, I am too! We were all freezing and I’m sure Hayley couldn’t feel her feet – but these photos were worth it times about a million!

Hayley and Billy were so fun to photograph. Hayley is pure energy, and her love for her dog (Sadie) was evident all over this wedding. Billy was down for literally whatever, and it made getting photos all day so ridiculously easy. I was completely obsessed with Hayley’s dramatic yet simple dress, and the beadwork on her veil was next level. Just the right amount of accent while still being flow-y.

Getting to run out to the ice cream truck at the end of the night (and I’m not gonna lie, I got a cone and I was in heaven) was the icing on the cake of this wedding, and we had such a good time! I’ll let Hayley tell you a little of their story in her own words.

How did you and Billy meet?

We got set up through our mutual friend, Holly, my yoga friend/ Billy’s real estate agent. We talked everyday before finally meeting in person a month later and here we are – married!

What was the proposal like?

We hiked to Daveys lake in Cape May with our dog Sadie. Billy arranged a spot, with his photographer friend Chank hiding in the bushes.
