Whimsical Blush Wedding at Bear Brook Valley

March 31, 2020

This wedding at Bear Brook Valley wedding was everything. If you like blush tones, dreamy dresses, golden sunlight, and understated elegant decor – this is the blog for you! Jasmine and Brandon’s wedding was a treat to shoot for many reasons, but I was especially happy that we were able to get their wedding in just before (literally, the day before) all of the restrictions about gatherings were put into place here in New Jersey.

Jasmine is a bride after my own heart. Her color scheme, florals, decor, and complete aesthetic were everything I would personally choose for myself! I loved the sheer cape she wore over her wedding dress, and her incredibly unique earrings. Effortless style and sophistication.

This wedding was my first visit to Bear Brook Valley in Fredon, New Jersey, and I immediately fell in love with the bridal suite and grounds! So much natural light and so many opportunities for beautiful photos.

Despite COVID-19 arguably starting to cast a dark cloud over basically the entire world – Jasmine and Brandon were rays of sunshine and so happy to be able to celebrate their day. It was so nice to be able to step away from the news media for awhile and just immerse myself in this beautiful wedding and have things feel ‘normal’ for a while. I feel like the beauty of ‘normal’ is so often taken for granted, and I know that after all of this is over, I will enjoy even the simplest activities just a little bit more.

I hope that these photos brighten your day. Stay safe, stay healthy – and I know we are all going to come out of this better on the other side!
