Before 2017 I had never been to Stone Harbor. I am so happy that I scheduled that first family beach session down there, because it has quickly risen to be one of my favorite beaches since then! It is the perfect, quintessential sleepy little beach town (with just a bit more hustle and bustle in the summer). I love the center of town with all of the adorable shops and restaurants, and I am a big fan of the beaches – especially Stone Harbor Point!
Stone Harbor Point has this amazing trail paved in broken white clamshells where the light is just magical, and also access to a beautiful beach right at the tip of the island (bonus – if you walk far enough you can have the ocean and bay in your photos)! Anytime I visit Stone Harbor I always love to hit Quahog’s and Springer’s for some ice cream.
If you are in need of some outfit inspiration for your family photo session, this family absolutely played the wardrobe game! I was loving all of the pastels (and suspenders)! One of my favorite parts of doing photographs of children is all the personality that I get to document. Kids are typically very unapologetic about being who they are – and I always love how that comes across in photos. This crew was just adorable and I had so much fun with them!
