Ahh Lisa and Justin! Just the sweetest couple! One of the things that stuck out to me most about this day, was as Lisa was getting ready – she was just so excited to marry Justin. The entire day I could just feel her excitement. I think that the entire reception could have been cancelled and as long as she and Justin were married at the end, that would have been totally ok with her.
For their ceremony, the organist was quite late. I think he ended up being so late that a second organist was called in. We ended up starting very behind for the ceremony, with around a 45 minute drive to venue after. Both Lisa and Justin were so calm thru all of this, and they didn’t let it affect their day at all. Once the ceremony ended we made a plan, and we executed it flawlessly.
The icing on the cake was the couple getting invited to take some photos on one of the boats at the marina (thanks Maxed Out!) and those ended up being some of my most favorites from the day!
How did you meet?
We met on Hinge in 2021, little did we know we already had a connection. I went to elementary school with Justin’s cousins.
What was the proposal like?
We went to Cape May for a weekend in December, it is one of our favorite places especially during the holidays. When we got there Justin suggested walking on the promenade by the beach because it was so nice out and to kill time before we checked into the room. At the end of the promenade, on a clear day, you can see the Cape May Lighthouse which we were able to on that day. We went on the beach and I took photos of the lighthouse because it was so clear. On the beach, Justin proposed to me. I had no idea it was coming!! After he proposed and gave me the ring, he said “turn around.” Behind us, and following us the whole day unbeknownst to me, was our entire family. My mom, dad, step-mom, brother, his parents, brother and sister in law!! We all ending up spending that day and having dinner together. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day.
