Rainy Pastel Wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor

May 22, 2025

Megan is a girl after my own pink pastel heart. I knew this when she had initially booked, but it was confirmed when I walked in the day of her wedding to find the most perfect colorful items for her detail items, and the most beautiful florals for me to incorporate. She had such a gorgeous day planned, including a stop at Monmouth University for portraits. There was a threat of rain all day long, but I felt confident that we were going to make it (and we did!!).

I absolutely loved the entire vibe of the day, and the way that Megan and William love their sweet pup, Whiskey! At the beginning of the ceremony, it looked like it might finally rain on us. We all had umbrellas at the ready – and just towards the end of the ceremony we ended up needing them. It honestly made for such cute photos and a memorable evening!

Ever thoughtful, Megan had the Chik-Fil-A cow come and bring treats for all the guests, which was so fun!

How did you meet?

We have the modern love story, we met on Bumble in 2021! Although I was hesitant about online dating I made the first move and sent William a message. William was newly single and even warned me that he wasn’t sure he was looking for anything serious. We decided to meet for drinks at the Jenkinson’s Inlet Bar in Point Pleasant. When we didn’t want the night to end, we drove to the beach in Bay Head where we both got parking tickets. We have been together ever since.
