This was such a fun one, and I had to go a little heavy on the party photos at the end of this blog post! Gabrielle and Carmine knew how to throw a heck of a party – complete with glow robots, a violinist, saxophonist, and a fun dress change!
I first met these two in Hoboken for their engagement session, and I automatically loved their style and energy! I knew that the wedding day was going to be just as awesome, and I was absolutely correct. Of course, the morning of the wedding – it was raining. It ended up raining on and off all day, but we made the absolute best of it – even doing their first look out front of the venue with umbrellas. Those photos with the umbrellas ended up being some of my favorites from their entire day!
Later on, just before the start of the reception we got the most gorgeous and colorful sunset – so we had to run out for a quick photo! It may have been the most vibrant sunset I got all year, and what made it extra special was the light drizzle still coming down in the background that my flash illuminated!
How did you meet?
“We met down the shore at a bar and had our first date in Lavallette at Lenny’s pizzeria.”
What was the proposal like?
“Carmine proposed at the gazebo in Lavallette where I’ve spent my summers since I was little so it’s a very sentimental place for us now and we get to revisit it every summer. Our parents/siblings were there and we got to celebrate afterwards with our friends.”
