Fall Wedding at Crystal Point Yacht Club

July 6, 2023

Ahhh I just love these two!! After their engagement session we all ate pizza and had beer together at Johnny Mac’s and I was so excited for this wedding. Let me be the first to tell you, it did not disappoint. Christine is such a ray of sunshine and was the most fun to photograph!! It was *freezing* on her wedding day, but I didn’t see her shiver not one time, and I’m sure looking at these photos you would never guess it was mid-30’s and windy! She was genuinely having the best time, and her joy was also making everyone else also have the best time! My favorite combo!

Ryan had so many ideas for his own photos, which we loved. It’s always the best when a groom is into the photos and also having fun with them. All of this amazingness combined with Crystal Point Yacht club’s scenic views and gorgeous spaces, and this wedding was a home run!!

From Christine:

“We met at a college frat party. His fraternity was hosting my sorority’s big/little night. We had talked a few times throughout the night but I didn’t really have much interest in him at first. Afterwards, he had friend requested me on Facebook and asked me to hang out again and I really fell for his persistence, and his sweet date ideas!

The proposal was a legitimate surprise, considering it was on a Thursday night! And it was funny, because that morning before work, I was having a moment feeling like he was never going to propose (we’d been dating almost 8 years at that point). It was sweet though, because my co-workers were in on it too, and made sure that I was actually dressed for work that day, instead of wearing scrubs. I walked out of work at 7:15PM on a Thursday night, to a long runner lined with candles and sprinkled with rose petals, with Ryan standing at the end. To make it even better, both our families were there in the background. I’m hard to surprise, so he got me good with a weeknight proposal!”
