Anytime I blog an engagement session I always get so excited for that couple’s wedding (and not gonna lie, I always end up missing them – so Michaela and Greg, please get married already, thanks). It also doesn’t help that I’m blogging this engagement session as it’s literally about to snow outside. I guess in a lot of ways I’m super lucky that I got away with all of December and now also all of January without any snow at all (spoiler alert: I actually do not like snow) – but I miss the warm weather!
Sayen Gardens is a favorite spot of mine for engagement sessions because it’s beautiful all year long. I swear – no matter what time of year it is, it feels like they always have something blooming. Michaela wore the most perfect white and pink dress, which was ideal for swooping and perfectly flowy. Swoops and flows are important photography terms that I seem to use a lot.
We ended this shoot with a pop of champagne and I may or may not have gotten it in my hair.
Can’t wait for you to tie the knot, guys!
