Fall Wedding at The Herbary at Bear Creek

February 16, 2021

Karyn was the actual happiest bride ever. Karyn and Sean went thru so much to be able to have this wedding, and to see it all turn out as amazingly as it did was such a privilege. As I’m sure you can guess, the wedding Karyn and Sean had was not the original wedding they had planned thanks to restrictions across the state. However – it ended up being such a perfect day anyway.

It didn’t hurt that despite the fact that rain had been forecast to begin at 1pm, we didn’t get any drops at all until just before 9pm when we were already well into the reception. The glittering drops actually added a nice little bonus to the night photos we took out in the front of the Herbary.

Sean gave Karyn such a sweet and thoughtful gift on the morning of the wedding. While they had known each other and gone to school together, they had drifted apart but reconnected on the Words with Friends app. His gift to her was a necklace with scrabble blocks in a cross spelling out ‘Love You’ – the best!

I absolutely loved the subtle personal touches throughout this wedding and the laid back vibe! I’m also not going to lie to you – anytime I am at The Herbary I walk away with a plant. This wedding was no different – Ray is now the proud owner of a dwarf banana tree.
