Winter Wedding at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel

January 30, 2021

I always love kicking off my wedding season! This wedding was the perfect one to kick off 2021 with. 2020 weddings were a wild ride with the pandemic, and while 2021 has started out similarly, I love that Lindsay and Jeff were able to have such a unique and wonderful day.

Lindsay and Jeff actually met as kids, and ended up re-connecting later on in life. Jeff is real estate agent, and for their engagements they incorporated that, which was adorable. Lindsay wore her sister’s veil for these photos, and it as such a stunner! Her bridal look was absolutely perfect for a winter wedding, complete with fur shawl.

These two actually ended up having their wedding ceremony and getting married before we took these photos. While they didn’t have a reception, we were able to make the day all about photos.

We began the day at the beautiful Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury, and it truly felt like we had the entire place to ourselves (honestly, I’m pretty sure we did). We were able to do photos in the mezzanine – which is easily one of my favorite indoor spaces to photograph. There are some spaces that simply require a wedding dress be hung in them, and The Berkeley’s mezzanine is one such place (see below).

It was truly such an honor to be able to take these photos for Lindsay and Jeff! I know this was not the day that they planned or dreamed of for so long – but the fact that they still wanted there with me to capture these moments truly means the world to me. I hope that your day was still magical!
