Summer Wedding at Clark’s Landing Point Pleasant

April 20, 2020

I was in love with Stephanie and Nick’s wedding from the second I walked in and saw her gorgeous yellow bridesmaids dresses! They were seriously just the perfect color, and I loved that they were a little something different while also keeping things summery and bright. This whole wedding was truly perfection from start to finish. From thoughtful details to awesome dancing – this couple and their family had it all and then some more.

We started out the day in Seaside where Steph and the girls got ready, and then headed over to Clark’s Landing in Point Pleasant for the rest of the day’s portraits. It was a hot one and more than a little windy, but everyone took it in stride and we even got some amazing veil flying photos which ended up being some of my favorites of the day!

We got extremely lucky with a gorgeous sunset that broke through the clouds right after the evening’s toasts. I always love working at Clark’s Landing because the staff are amazing – and I was extra thrilled when despite dinner service going on, they urged us to go out and catch the sunset despite it throwing off their timing ever so slightly. They always have their couples in mind!

Stephanie and Nick are seriously the sweetest and I loved spending this day with them. They love their adorable daughter so much, and truly, being able to photograph this day for them was such a privilege. I can’t wait to photograph Stephanie’s sister Cara’s wedding next year!
