Laid Back Cape May Wedding | Cape May Photographer

January 10, 2020

If you are looking for effortless chill, laid back style, and some straight up fun this Cape May wedding at Hotel Alcott is the one for you! Sam and Dan planned the most perfect wedding day with beautiful coastal touches and a relaxed vibe.

Future brides and grooms take note – Sam planned a generous 3 hours for us to do portraits and wowww did it pay off! We were able to hit multiple locations and enjoy each one. There was no rushing or stress, and we got an amazing variety of photos. This was a super fun group, and it was just like hanging out with 12 of my closest friends and all of having an awesome afternoon together (while also getting some of my favorite photos of the year). It makes such a difference to allow time to really enjoy your photos and not stress out while taking them! It also helped that all of the locations we hit were within around 5 or so minutes of each other (Cape May is pretty small). The icing on the cake was the perfect late October day we were gifted with! It was unseasonably warm which really helped!

It was truly such an honor to have met Sam and Dan (and their entire family). Not only are they all incredibly kind – but they are funny. Their dry senses of humor were making me laugh all day and I loved being around them. Also – they had an epic band at their reception! Face 2 Face killed it and the dancing photos from this wedding are some of my favorites!

Ok – now get to these photos!
