It seems like only yesterday that I was photographing this soon-to-be family of three on Long Beach Island, and now this past summer they are a soon-to-be-family of four! As usual, Valerie and Josh were literally the sweetest people I have ever met. They are insanely good natured – even when out on the beach in some intense heat with a side of those infamous New Jersey black flies coming in off a west wind.

Their little one takes right after them, and proceeded to sit and essentially ‘chill’ for this entire session. He politely sat on the sand and watched the session unfold, giving me some adorable smiles and sweet looks along the way (with those perfect blue eyes)!

I absolutely love these two and I just know that baby #2 is one lucky kiddo to have these two patient, funny, and kindhearted souls as parents.
