Whimsical Pastel Wedding at the Historic Smithville Inn | NJ Photographer

June 12, 2019

If you’re looking for a wedding with all the gorgeous, pastel, romantic and whimsical details – Kerri and Jack’s gorgeous spring wedding at the Historic Smithville Inn is the one for you! It also had a couple of subtle Star Wars touches (because they got married on May the 4th) which just made this affair even sweeter.

When I first met Kerri and Jack over FaceTime I loved their relaxed down to earth personalities. We did their engagement session in Downtown Pitman and they showed me all their favorite restaurants and spots. They even brought their adorable pup for some photos. I knew that their wedding was sure to be amazing, and I was absolutely right. From the second I walked into the Colonial Inn I was greeted with open arms and an amazing bridal party ready to make all the photo dreams we had for the day come true!

We got perfect weather for this entire wedding despite a rainy forecast. Warm when we wanted – some gorgeous leftover cherry blossom petals for the ceremony, and lovely glowing light all day that perfectly matched Kerri’s gorgeous blush and neutral color story. I loved her rose gold accents and fun party sneakers that she broke out for the reception.

I had a difficult time narrowing down photos from this wedding (as seems to be the trend with me) – so I hope you enjoy the almost 100 photos I selected for this blog! Thank you Kerri and Jack for being truly amazing people. Your love was amazing to photograph and I am so happy I was there with you on this magical day!
