Avalon is such a gorgeous beach town, so any time I get the opportunity to shoot weddings there or in next-door Stone Harbor, I always jump at the chance! This gorgeous wedding was at Icona Avalon – which is such a coastal and elegant venue for a wedding.

We started the day with Marcee in one of the hotel’s gorgeous suites, and Kyle at a nearby beach house. The two were laid back and just ready to be married. We did a sweet first look right at Icona and then moved on to some beach portraits before the ceremony. It was crazy hot and I may or may not have completely sweat through my dress (though I can’t really complain because the guys were in tuxes and they did awesome).

We were very fortunate to have a slightly windy but absolutely gorgeous beach ceremony. I absolutely loved all of the subtle touches throughout this wedding. There was a shoe concierge on the beach, and gorgeous driftwood centerpieces. I could not get over the reception space. It was all white, and the structure of the space and long tables were just stunning and unique.

Everyone danced the night away to the Animal House band, and this one was truly a wedding to remember!
