Backyard Beach Wedding In Lavallette New Jersey | New Jersey Beach Wedding Photographer

December 17, 2018

Where do I even begin with Heather and Chris’s gorgeous backyard beach wedding in Lavallette, New Jersey? I suppose I could start by telling you all about Heather’s absolutely impeccable taste. When I initially saw her bouquet and shoes, I asked her how she had managed to pick such perfect items for her big day, and she told me it was just ‘whatever felt right’. Every single thing on this day felt right. From Heather’s ridiculously perfect Ashley & Justin gown, to Chris’s suit color, to the fireworks at the end of the night while Random Test Reggae played – everything was an absolute dream. Not to mention that Heather is such a sweetheart (and also an amazing and talented Yogi and violinist).

We started off the day in Toms River, before heading over to the Lavallette gazebo for the ceremony. It was a perfect New Jersey September day with not too much heat. After the ceremony, we headed to the beach for delicious food and reggae. I was beyond thrilled that I was able to go out onto the beach with Heather and Chris when the light was just perfect for their portraits. It is so rare to have all the stars align to make this happen – but it did! The light was bonkers gorgeous and I was in my glory. As the sun went down the party kicked up with sparklers and fireworks, and also some of the most delicious cake I have ever eaten.

Thank you so much Heather and Chris for letting me be a part of your amazing perfect day!
