Wedding at The American Hotel Freehold | Allaire State Park Chapel Ceremony | Cristina & Chris Married

April 7, 2018

This was my first time photographing a wedding at The American Hotel in Freehold New Jersey, and I am so glad that I got to do it with Cristina and Chris! Not only are these two the sweetest couple ever (I actually went to high school with both of them) but they were so laid back about their wedding day that it just made the entire process such a breeze. It also helped that Cristina might potentially be the most organized human ever, and she had a perfectly organized timeline that ensured the day went super smoothly – complete with a rain plan (that we fortunately did not have to use)!
Cristina’s style was so timeless and elegant. I love that she included some extra baby’s breath for me to use with her details. It was the perfect touch, and really just provided an air of elegance. Her bouquets were understated but gorgeous, and they worked beautifully with the pop of color that Cristina had selected for her bridesmaid dresses and accessories.
I love that Cristina and Chris selected the Allaire State Park chapel for their ceremony! It has such beautiful natural light, and I always love being able to have access to the park for portraits afterward! After some photos, we headed over to The American Hotel in Freehold for the reception. We got to use the streets of historic downtown Freehold for some photos as well at sunset, and I am so happy that these two snuck away from their reception for a couple of minutes with me!
