Stafford New Jersey Photographer | Jessica and Robert’s Captain’s Inn Wedding

July 7, 2017

When I first met Jess we bonded instantly over our love of animals. I’m reasonably sure we were swapping dog pics by the end of the night. Not only is Jess a dog lover, but she’s an EMT and Robert is a firefighter. Match made in heaven! I loved that Jess had one of her pups with her as she was getting ready, and that she had even purchased Luna a special wedding day collar. Watching Luna lick her Mom’s arm as she put on her wedding gown seriously brought tears to my eyes, because if that isn’t love, I’m not sure what is.
I was so stoked to shoot their June wedding at Captain’s Inn (not only because it was sure to be an epic wedding) but because Jess was seriously such a relaxed bride. I could instantly tell when I met her that all she really cared about was that at the end of the day she was married to Rob. Relaxed as she was, Jess still pulled together absolutely gorgeous wedding day details that made her day extra special. From the gorgeous color and style of her bridesmaid dresses to her absolutely stunning bouquets provided by Reynolds Garden Center, her details were classic and elegant.
We started off the morning with photos at her parents gorgeous home on the water, and followed up with a beautiful ceremony at their church. We then headed over to Lake Manahawkin for some absolutely gorgeous portraits of everyone, before ending up at the Captain’s Inn to kick off the party! I am so in love with all these wedding photos and am so excited to be able to share them here with you!
