Brianna and Matt – this was such a fun one! These two have such an easy way about them, and don’t take themselves too seriously. I absolutely love Brianna’s energy, and she was a true bridal queen – snuggling their two adorable dogs in her wedding gown (even getting them both under her veil with her), and icing the groomsmen. We just had a blast together. We even pierced Brianna’s ear for her (I’m kidding a little but also not kidding).

You absolutely must see the photos of Brianna and Matt slaying inside the cocktail space at Clark’s. We were given the most glorious light and this couple brought the energy!

How did you meet?

Blind, accidental double date! We were both accompanying our high school friends (from towns nearly an hour apart!) on their casual first “date” at a mini golf course, totally unaware that neither of us would wind up being a third wheel that night as we previously thought. Shortly after meeting, we left our friends to their date and decided to sit in the car, talk, and listen to music. Even though we just met that night, our conversation flowed so easily and it truly felt like we had known each other for years. We each left that night without exchanging numbers, but a few weeks later, Matt mustered up the courage to add me as a friend on Snapchat (so high school). We exchanged phone numbers shortly after and the rest is history.

What was the proposal like?

During a weekend home in NJ, Matt told me that he made dinner reservations at a restaurant in my hometown, but instead took me to Philadelphia Blvd. beach in Sea Girt (chosen by Matt specifically in honor of our first apartment together in Philly!). He had a beautiful picnic set up near the dunes, and we sat and talked about our favorite memories together over the years. Matt asked me to ‘go for a walk by the water’, but then got back down on one knee and proposed! We met our families at The Wharfside for dinner afterwards.
