I’m sorry I kept this wedding from you all for so long. Gab and Katie are incredibly special to me, and this one was very personal to photograph. Katie and Gabriella have humored me thru several crazy ideas (like hey guys do you want to be in full weird fire and ice make-up in February out in the woods? or Gab will you be part of this very strange Halloween shoot even though Katie’s most favorite holiday is Christmas and she was probably like why are you all so obsessed with everything scary and why are there pumpkins with smoke and actual black cats in baby carriages hanging around)?

During their engagement session, Gab did a surprise proposal to Katie, and being able to photograph their emotions during that (as well as the adorable photos on their bicycle and out on the beach) were a career highlight. Thank you for trusting me over and over and over again with your photos and memories.

What I remember most from their wedding was just their excitement to be married. That was literally all that it was about. I remember wanting to sell my soul for 10 more minutes photographing them – but for Katie and Gab, it wasn’t necessarily about the photos, it was just about the two of them being married, their relationship, and getting to hang out with their family and friends. They wanted to have themselves a party and they got it. This made for so many very special real moments thru their day, some of which I have included below.

So Gab and Katie – this one is for you. I think I might have one more weird Halloween shoot in me so… I’ll keep you posted. <3
