Pastel Wedding at Clark’s Landing

December 25, 2025

This wedding was like a breath of fresh air after a long cold winter! Each year as I come out of my hibernation I cannot wait for spring weddings! When I walked in and found Steph in a blue robe and all her girls in pink, I was thrilled because I knew this day was going to be a pastel wonderland. I remember the pear trees were just beginning to bloom, and it finally felt like the cold of winter was releasing its hold on NJ.

Steph and Nick had the best energy. They were so emotive and just having the best time all day. The bridal party was down for anything and the vibes were just so SO good.

When it came time for Nick and Steph’s first dance – there is a moment at Clark’s Landing where they open the shades to reveal the gorgeous view of the marina from the ballroom. When those shades lifted, there was the most golden sunset on the other side – it literally felt like we were all in a movie.

I’ll let Steph tell you how they met in her own words:

We met during summer 2020 when all of the bars at the Jersey shore were closed. I was staying with my parents & Nick was doing a summer share house in August with friends. We matched on Hinge & tried to get outside drinks at the Salty Whale but it poured rain & their tent closed, so we met outside and Ubered together to Leggetts to get drinks. We kept getting scolded to keep our masks on as we waited for our table. We drank tequila sodas and he invited my friends & I to do a party boat on the Miss Michelle the next day. The rest was history.
