There is always something so special about NYE weddings! I have photographed many over my career, and they always stand out as special evenings just because the night in itself tends to have a little extra magic. All your guests arrive dressed in their best, and I feel like everyone arrives ready for a party!
Haley and Harry are just the sweetest couple, and I was so excited to be invited along for this one! Just a truly magical evening at one of my most favorite venues. They got so very lucky with the weather, and it ended up being the most perfect afternoon for outdoor photos and also their church ceremony at the Saint Denis beach chapel (which I was so excited to see after hearing so much over the years about it).
At the end of the ceremony for the exit, it was already dark out – so I had the guests all shine their phone lights on the couple because it was pitch black and I thought it would be a fun effect! It worked out so well and I loved that it was a fun way to include the guests in the photo!
Haley and Harry also had the coolest set up for their reception with a giant screen that was put to good use when they showed old photos during the parent dances and I’m pretty sure that they had everyone in tears.
All in all, such a perfect evening!
