Perona Farms has so many beautiful spaces for weddings, and The Refinery is the newest of the bunch! I have done a handful of weddings in this and other spaces on the property over the years, and the Refinery might just take the cake for the most unique.

One of the best parts about the venue, is the indoor/outdoor ceremony spaces that look like greenhouses! When it’s beautiful out, the glass roof can open, and if it’s raining or too hot/cold – the roof can stay shut. This ensures you get gorgeous light and that outdoor feel no matter the weather which is so incredible!

Cynthia and Jason had such a heartfelt and joy filled day, and it was so wonderful to be there with them! Don’t miss Cynthia’s second dress that she changed into just before the ceremony!

How did you meet?

“I met Jason because he met my brother at a church event and became friends. After some time talking occasionally and seeing each other in church a few times we began to know each and fell in love.”

What was the proposal like?

“Our proposal was very intimidate in the Brooklyn bridge park after a super rainy day.”
