Classic Winter Wedding at The Park Savoy Estate

August 2, 2024

This was such a special and magical day!! Megan and Marko are just the sweetest, and I so enjoyed being able to spend this magical late February day with them at the Park Savoy Estate! Not only is Megan an extremely talented cookie decorator, she is also the most thoughtful human. She had my most favorite Entemann’s cake waiting for me when I arrived (it’s Marko’s favorite too, because we both obviously have incredible taste).

Megan and Marko wrote each of their guests a special personalized note, and made that into their seating chart, which I thought was an incredible touch! A testament to how wonderful these two really are.

We got a perfect golden sunset just as we were doing their couple’s portraits on the ground, and then when I tell you that Megan and Mark danced the night away – that is no joke! The party went hard all night long, complemented by a live sax and drum player.

I’ll let Megan tell you how they met!

“Marko’s sister is one of my best friends from college! Throughout college, Nina would ask me if I would go on a date with her brother, and would ask Marko the same. After 4 years of declining, Nina and I met for coffee. I shared silly stories about men I was dating and Nina had enough. She gave Marko my number and we went on a date. The rest was history!

We live in Hoboken, NJ. With Marko being from Long Island, a move to the other side of the Hudson was a big deal. Marko and I decided we would move to Hoboken together on a bench near the river. Over a year later, Marko proposed on that same bench. After, he asked me what I wanted to do to celebrate. All I wanted was to call my parents. So we went back to our apartment, and both families were waiting there to celebrate!”
