Rainy Wedding at Park Savoy

June 7, 2024

Cati and Andrew are just the sweetest couple with the cutest doggo! They had the most beautiful wedding at Park Savoy this past September. It was a rainy one (and the rain persisted alllll day). Fortunately there are so many locations indoors at Park Savoy that the rain did not stop us one bit! Always love doing photos inside the gorgeous onsite chapel, and in the amazing library room and on the staircase!

I’ll let Cat tell you about how they met, and the proposal in her own words!

“We went to high school together but never spoke, only knew of each other. We reconnected on Twitter (it was cool at the time) while he was away at basic training for the army. We still can’t agree on who messaged who first. When he came home 3 months later we went on a date and have been together ever since.”

“Andrew hid the ring in the apartment for 2 months and I somehow never found it (he put it high up on a shelf so I could never reach it). One day he tried to plan a picnic and we ended up having to go to his dad’s house for his birthday. Then he tried to go to the beach and do it at sunset, but they wouldn’t let us on the beach after hours and he did not realize the sun does not set on the beach in New Jersey. Finally we decided to walk the dog on Bunny Hill, a place where we used to spend hours and hours talking under a tree when we first started dating. He pulled out the ring and said so many sweet things that I don’t completely remember because I am pretty sure I blacked out. It was just us and our pup and I was completely surprised. It was perfect.”
