I just want to start this out by saying that Alyssa and Danny are so much cooler than I am, that I was nervous to shoot this wedding. Not only are they incredibly photogenic, but they are so freaking fun – and they also don’t take themselves too seriously, and they know how to party. I had way too much fun with this one (and I hope everyone involved did) – even though it was actually 100 degrees outside.

Yes. That is correct 100. It was oppressively hot. Looking at these photos, you would never know it – but yes, we were all out in blistering heat on a dock with no shade – the guys in long sleeves and multiple shirts. You can see a photo I included in this post of when they all went shirtless for their ceremony rehearsal because it was, in fact, that hot. The fact that the weather was that extreme, and Alyssa and Danny still trusted me as much as they did to have them out in that heat for their photos means the actual world. I cannot express how amazed I am every single time I go out and photograph that I get to meet the couples that I do and be a part of days like this one.

Alyssa came out and performed later into the reception in a second sparkly dress and it was everything. I think you can tell from the photo selection in this blog post, that the party was lit.

Alyssa and Danny – you are just magnetic. Thank you so much for having me.
