Pastel Wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club

March 11, 2022

Be still my heart! Mallard Island Yacht Club is such an incredible wedding venue, and this was a magical wedding to shoot! I felt like a photographer in a candy store, because literally everywhere I looked, there was gorgeousness. I was very nearly overwhelmed with the pretty! One of my most favorite parts of Mallard Island is the incredible bridal suite. It is an entire floor and it is literally bridal suite goals. Liz and Pat had the perfect timeline, too – so we really got to relax in the suite, and get some amazing photos! I was obsessed with their fun sunglasses!

Pat had one of the sweetest first look reactions that I have ever photographed. I think I was crying along with him. These two were down to really explore Mallard Island and we hit all the good photo spots (which is basically every inch of the property). An added bonus was sneaking out for sunset, where they got some gorgeous cotton candy skies!

We had done their engagement session in Hoboken, and I remember it as being the actual coldest, windiest day ever. Like 30mph, 30 degrees, real feel of 2. Even in those conditions Liz and Pat were so fun to be around, and I knew that I loved them then! It was only right that they get the actual most perfect weather for their June wedding – and wowza did they! It was such an incredible day from start to finish.

Thank you, thank you Liz and Pat from the bottom of my heart for sharing this day with me! You are both so special, and I absolutely loved meeting all of your family and friends!
