The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel has always held a special place in my heart for weddings – because: the mezzanine. It is one of the most perfect indoor spaces for wedding photos in the entire town. It does help that the staff at The Berkeley is great and the building is ridiculously close to some of my favorite places to shoot in Asbury.

Tina and Thomas’s micro-wedding at The Berkeley was so fun to shoot. Tina was timelessly elegant with simple florals and a gorgeous sweeping gown, and I loved that both Tina and Thomas kept their attire and decor understated but impactful. It was such a complement to the interior and vibe of the hotel!

How did you meet?

Thomas and I both went to Middletown High School South together. We crossed paths again later in life about 10 years ago. We kept in touch, and started dating in 2017.

What was the proposal like?

Thomas proposed to be while we were at home, about to head out for our 2 year anniversary dinner. It was sweet and intimate.
