Stone Harbor Point is one of my favorite places to shoot – and this proposal was such a special one! Ethan was super smart, and had set up this proposal like a family photo session (which Marisa’s Mom had been wanting for years – so win, win). I have to admit, it also made my part so much easier, because the family was expecting me, and I was able to have some control over placing everyone and how the proposal went down!

As it turned out, the only person *not* in on the proposal (besides Marisa), was Marisa’s Mom, and she had such a sweet reaction when Ethan got down on one knee!

We had such a beautiful day for Ethan to pop the question, and I was so thrilled to be there with this family to document such an amazing milestone!
