A Laid Back Cedar Bonnet Island Wedding | Beach Haven Photographer

November 12, 2020

Pretty much the only word that I have for this Long Beach Island wedding is: Wow. Casey and Nate had originally been planning a May wedding at Parker’s Garage and Oyster Saloon. They were forced to change their plans to a backyard October wedding instead when the pandemic hit, and rather than be sad – they chose to make the absolute most of their new day and event.

Casey and Nate have an effortless cool vibe and their wedding combined a laid back beach aesthetic with some whimsical boho touches (and just a little salt water taffy). They piked an amazing team of vendors to make their vision come to life, and it was seriously such a pleasure to be part of this day.

One of my favorite parts of this day was having a lot more time than usual for portraits. This enabled us to drive from Beach Haven to Cedar Bonnet Island for the majority of their portraits – and it was pure magic. Well worth a bit of a ride. Instead of the forecasted rain, we got a perfect 70 degree early fall day with sunshine and light breezes. We also had the flexibility to sneak up to the beach after the ceremony, and were even able to include Benny their pup in some photos after their first look and vow reading (if you are not planning on doing this I highly recommend it! Casey and Nate’s private vows were one of my favorite parts of this day!).

Don’t miss the gorgeous Photo Booth set up in this gallery, along with their amazing tablescape and clear top tent (10/10 recommend)!
