The Herbary at Bear Creek is a small shop just off I-195 in Farmingdale, and it’s every plant lover’s dream. They have a beautiful greenhouse with beautiful plants (and also plenty of space for engagement photos), as well as a barn with other awesome decor. The fact that they have two adorable goats on premise is besides the point (hello Coconut and Caramel).

I am always excited to do sessions here because it is such a fun property, and also because it is a great alternative if an engagement session day calls for rain and can’t be rescheduled. There are lots of different nooks, crannies, and landscaping to make any photos here a home run.

Jena and Kyle brought their adorable pupper Tito with them for this session, and you’ll see below that he did steal the show just a bit – but Jena and Kyle are seriously so fun to hang out with – and I really really wish I was as cool as Jena is. One of my favorite parts of any engagement session is just getting to hang out with my couples and get to know them while also getting some beautiful photos, and I always end up leaving and missing them. I am already dying for these two to get married so I can see them again this September!
