Anytime I blog wedding photos I swear to myself that I’m going to limit myself to like 75 photos (which I know is a lot) – but then I actually start to pick the photos from the gallery (wait until you see these gorgeous ones from The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake) and once again I end up with well over 100. Probably overkill for a blog entry – but you guys don’t mind, right? How could I possibly get this wedding down to any fewer images?!
To know Nicole and Bobby is to love Nicole and Bobby. I knew that these two were special from the first time I spoke with Nicole on the phone! They are truly such genuine kind hearted people – and from day one I was literally made to feel like I was a member of their family. They also have the cutest fur baby ever, Cash – who I got to meet at their fall engagement session last year. Nicole is such a beauty inside and out, and her hair is always ridiculously perfect (she’s a hair stylist and a dancer – so multi-talented)! I literally had to wait around a year and a half for these two to tie the knot and this wedding was so worth the wait!
We began the day up in Somerset, New Jersey at Nicole’s Mom’s house getting ready. We got a gorgeous early October day, and we really could not have asked for more! We had a gorgeous church ceremony, and then headed down to Spring Lake to The Mill Lakeside Manor to celebrate! The traffic was a little rough (welcome to the Jersey Shore on a Friday) – but Nicole and Bobby (and their entire wedding party) took it all in stride and were still so incredible, kind, and cooperative to work with even after being in a party bus for 2 hours trapped in rush hour traffic on the good ole’ GSP. A true testament to how amazing Nicole, Bobby, and all of their family and friends really are. We breezed through portraits and were just in time for some perfect golden light right at The Mill’s beautiful lake – easily one of my favorite spots for photos! I was so thrilled that I got so many absolutely stunning photos of Nicole and her girls, and Nicole and Bobby on the gorgeous dock on the lake and feeding the swans.
From there – the party started, and damn it was a good one! We seriously rocked and rolled all night and I had a blast! Nicole and Bobby – it was such an honor to be there with you on your wedding day, and just to even have been able to meet you! I can’t wait for Buttercup and Cash to have their playdate!
