Summer Wedding at Park Loft and Monmouth University

August 7, 2025

This was such a beautiful wedding and I can’t wait for you all to see these photos! First thing in the morning when I walked into Brielle’s room, she handed me the most beautiful selection of details for her lay flats – the florals and items were so well curated I just knew that the rest of the day would be too!

I just want to throw it out there that this was a hot one. I want to say mid 90’s. Very humid. Brielle and Ryan, and their bridal party just took it in stride – using shade when possible, but also having a great time. The groomsmen in fact were having such a great time – that one of them split his pants while we were still at Monmouth University doing portraits! And I’m not talking just a little split. He did get a replacement pair just before ceremony, but the pants made another appearance at the reception as everyone waved them over their heads while they danced! I tell couples this and I don’t always know if they believe me – but groomsmen splitting pants is actually pretty common. Those pants can be tight!

Immediately after we had finished all our outdoor photos, there was a savage thunderstorm outside that somewhat broke the heat.

Park Loft is a beautiful new venue in Ocean Port, and I have been so excited to be able to finally get in to photograph some weddings here!

How did you meet?

We met as medical assistants in neurosurgery! Started off as friends, but slowly it grew to more and Ryan asked me on our first date to a NY Giants game.

What was the proposal like?

Ryan planned a trip out to the hamptons. We stayed in a cozy B&B right on the water and one night after dinner we took a stroll (a very cold and windy stroll) along the beach and he proposed!
