Claudia and Andrew – where do I even start?! I love the way you two interact – Claudia you are just a ray of absolute sunshine! This was the quintessential winter New Jersey wedding – complete with a start at The Berkeley in Asbury Park in their new beautifully renovated suite.

The vibes of this day were perfect from start to finish. With Claudia’s bridesmaids practicing their intro dance in the morning, and a live percussionist that the couple joined in with at the reception, and so many laughs in-between!

The Mill is truly such a perfect spot for a cold weather wedding – with beautiful lake views through enormous windows in the ceremony and reception space.

How did you meet?

We met at work and, as our friendship grew, so did our love for each other, eventually leading us to start dating. They always say you should fall in love with your best friend and it has been the greatest experience.

What was the proposal like?

The proposal was everything we could have ever dreamed of. Andrew proposed in the same place in Chadwick beach he told me he loved me for the first time. It was my dad’s birthday weekend so everyone was supposedly up for a birthday celebration for my dad but it was actually for our engagement. My brother (posing as our neighbor) called my mom to say there was a beached whale at the beach that we just HAD to check out. Unfortunately, no beached whale LOL but an empty beach for just the two of us to share in the most special and memorable moment. My grandma is making whale ring dishes for everyone’s favors at the wedding!
