Alex and Dan had the most perfect day at Renault Winery’s beautiful champagne ballroom! This was the wedding that made me completely obsessed with orchids – I could die over Alex’s perfect Orchid bouquet by the amazing Desiree Dean.

I love that we got so many incredible photo ops all over the property! From the amazing arches and staircase at Chateau Renault, to the vines at sunset – this wedding as it all!

I’ll let Alex tell you about how she met Dan in her own words:

“Dan and I have known each other since we were 13! We were friends throughout middle school and highschool. We were even in the same homeroom all four years of highschool! Our sophomore year of college Dan and I reconnected at a New Years party and the rest is history… the timing of our reconnection was fate! Dan’s family moved to NYC so he was visiting often and I had just transferred to NYU and didn’t know many people in the city. We started seeing each other often and even managed to stay together long distance while I studied abroad in London (Dan came to visit!) We remained together all throughout college and moved in together right after graduation.

The proposal was a dream!!! Dan and I were on vacation to Arizona, we went to Scottsdale and Sedona and I had a hunch he may propose during the trip but he tricked me by waiting until the second to last day of the vacation! At that point we were in Sedona and Dan had hired a private guide to take us on a hike up a mountain. Once we were on top of the mountain our guide stopped to take a picture of us but little did I know he was in on the whole thing and was actually recording the proposal. After a beautiful speech with the most stunning view I of course said yes! Our guide had a bottle of champagne, snacks and a blanket packed with him and we got to have a picnic on top of the mountain. Then when we got back to our hotel room the room was decorated with tons of roses and there was more champagne and sweets!”
