Platinum Summer Wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor

May 24, 2024

Ashley and Vince, you are magic! Just love the way these two interact! This was such a beautiful summer wedding at one of my most favorite venues, The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake. Ashley chose an absolutely stunning and unique color for her bridesmaids which I have been calling platinum. I had never had it before, and I haven’t had it since – but I just adored it! It made for such a chic, clean, and timeless aesthetic for the whole day, and matched perfectly with the white and green florals.

We got a gorgeous day for an outdoor ceremony, and then the couple went and danced the night away at their reception!

I’ll let Ashley tell you about the proposal in her own words:

“He KILLLED IT! I was totally blown away. He told me we were going to a work happy hour to meet his new co-workers (he had just gotten a new job) which was a brilliant way to have me dress up and walk in the frigid February weather to a restaurant near by. Little did I know, his sister and my sister in law were waiting on the cutest little street in Philly to capture him drop to one knee. The kid did not miss a beat or show any signs it was happening that day so naturally I was SHOCKED and blacked out so it’s good we have pictures to prove it happened. Here I am, still under the impression we’re going to happy hour with his co-workers…. when in reality he had 75 people packed into a Philly bar who all had known for MONTHS and kept the surprise. It was truly the best night of my life, partying and celebrating with all our favorite people.”
