Adorable Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Photos | Plumsted NJ Photographer

April 11, 2020

When you’re in quarantine, time has no meaning – so even though it’s April and I am totally thinking spring, today I’m going to share a session I shot this past December at the ridiculously adorable Evergreen Tree Farm out in Plumsted, New Jersey. There are several tree farms out in this neck of the woods, and while I have been to several – I have to admit, this one quickly climbed the charts as a favorite. They are in a great spot, the farm is well organized, they have the cutest shop. and I loved that they had differently sized trees grouped together which made taking these photos a breeze and gave us a bunch of different looks. They were also super accommodating to us, which we really appreciated.

I’ll be the first to admit that New Jersey is quite an interesting state. We have beach and shore towns, urban areas, and then we also have some very quaint rustic locations out west, as well. Put simply – we have the best of a lot of different worlds. This might just be me trying to overcompensate and convince myself that I really like my home state even though I genuinely wish I lived in a location where I could have palm trees all year. But I digress.

Ellesse and Austin are actually from down south in the Carolinas – they will be tying the knot at the beautiful Clark’s Landing this summer. I am freaking in love with these two and I am so thrilled they found me. Ellesse loves shoes as much as I do. I am always blown away by how fortunate I am to meet the amazing people that I get to photograph. So many unique stories, visions, and so. much. kindness. One of the reasons I enjoy engagement sessions so much is that I get to spend some time with my couples before their wedding day in a super laid back setting.

I am seriously so excited to get back to shooting!
