I always *love* photographing weddings at Clark’s Landing, and my excitement has only been increased since they did their incredible renovation! The roof deck has quickly become one of my favorite places for sunset portraits!

Emily and Ryan are just the sweetest – how can you not love Emily’s perfect laugh?! They also included so many special and personal touches throughout their day – like having generations of family wedding dresses out at the house where they were getting ready – and a framed picture Emily had drawn as a child saying she wanted to be a bride for Halloween! One of the many highlights was the inclusion of their dog for some portraits (who totally stole the show, because we are alllll dog lovers – see photo of Judy and the pup snuggling later for proof).

These two danced the night away – facilitated by the awesome DJ Mike Walter!

I’ll let Emily tell the story of their proposal in her own words:

“I absolutely love Central Park. Especially the promenade with the trees. I had probably mentioned a few times what an ideal spot it is for a proposal! Ryan took notes! He booked a spontaneous trip with 2 of our friends to NYC for a quick weekend trip in December 2021. On the morning of our second day there we decided to visit Central Park and he proposed on the promenade under my favorite trees. It was perfect!”
