Oh, you guys. Family portraits on Long Beach Island get no cuter than these. I had the honor of documenting this sweet family’s portraits on the beach this past summer in Beach Haven, and we had so much fun hanging out with their adorable little one (who has personality for days, I might add). We had been a bit worried because the forecast was really not great, but we ended up doing the session in very slight drizzle and some cloud cover, and I have to say that I absolutely love the soft look that the weather conditions gave us.

Also – this sweet girl loved her Grandma so much and it was so awesome being able to watch and document their relationship. We tucked in some maternity photos for Sam into this session to honor her bump, and I am sure that by this point, they have already added their +1 to the family! Sam was absolutely stunning and also wearing the most perfect maternity dress in the most beautiful shade of light pink.

Totally off topic, but after this session I distinctly remember that Ray and I stopped for Ice Cream at this place that we have always been eyeing up (The Ice Cream Shop of Manahawkin), and that they had Bacon ice cream and quite a few other very unique flavors and I was super impressed. I kinda always love stopping for ice cream after my sessions – it’s usually the perfect end to an amazing evening.
