Beach Haven Family Photographer | Long Beach Island, New Jersey

August 3, 2018

My family portraits on the beach are truly in full force, and I have been so fortunate to be able to spend most of my evenings doing photos of amazing families on beaches up and down the coast of New Jersey! In July alone I did sessions as far south as Cape May, and as north as Monmouth Beach. Pretty cool! August has even more in store for me, and I am super excited to begin sharing all of these sessions with you guys (I am pretty behind with blogging but working to catch up).

The weather got just a little bit quirky this week, but as always, my families didn’t mind one bit and were every bit as awesome as always – not minding a bit of wind or drizzle. I make every effort I possibly can to keep my sessions scheduled even if the weather looks a bit iffy, but sometimes I do have to cancel a session if it really looks like we are going to get poured on. The south wind was really blowing for this family’s session, but we embraced the breeze and ended up with an incredible session and some photos that I absolutely adore (and I hope they do, too)! We also got to witness a toga party together, so that was pretty cool as well. It’s not every day that I am doing a photo session on the beach and a huge group of people walks on wearing togas. It was certainly one for the books. I one day aspire to party that hard.

These kiddos were so adorable that they stole the show, and I absolutely love the total joy that is evident in all of these photos. Such a sweet family, and I cannot thank them enough for letting me document this time for them during their Long Beach Island getaway!
